Weekend in Review plus a NEW promotion
You all rock. We keep getting referral upon referral and this caused us some problems this weekend. What kinds of problems? We had to institute a mini-waiting list for computers this past Saturday...and Friday was packed too. Sunday finally proved it's worth as well with some Call of Duty action and a CS tourney. However, we're not satisfied yet so -

Want Gaming hours? Get 1 hour per new customer that YOU bring in!

Also, if you happen to visit us during the week, we might very well give up a little bit of time to anyone present for the greater good of getting a big server up in something that isn't necessarily CS - Call of Duty for instance. Variety is the Spice of life my friends.

Keep checking back fellas

$2.00/hour Gaming This Saturday with PrePurchase of Time!!
Come in on Friday at ANYTIME WHATSOEVER to pre-purchase your hours for Saturday and you get the following:

Individual Gaming Hours = $2.00
All-Day Pass = $15.00

And don't forget, HALO is half-price tomorrow afternoon and evening!!

We have had plumbers, counter-top installers, electricians and health inspectors all week. Suffice it to say that Mike and I are ready for some actual gaming for once. We specialize in UT, but at this point we're up for anything as long as we've got plenty of people on neighboring stations to play against.

So, what's happening this weekend?
First of all, I want to remind everyone that we are open until 2:00AM on FRIDAY and SATURDAY!

Friday is Fight night: We will be playing Super Smash Bros. Melee, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and other similar games and will probably end up having a tournament with a $5 or so entry fee. And of course, we will also do a ton of PC gaming. If more than 10 CS players show up, we can have a mini 2vs2 CS tournament (don't worry, it's free). Anyone who buys an all day pass on Friday will receive $5 off the purchase of an all day pass for Saturday.

On Saturday we will be having a number of mini-tournaments (Halo, Counter-Strike, Unreal Tournament 2004, and maybe some others). These tournaments are completely free and the winners will receive free gaming and store credit for food and drinks. Be sure to sign up as soon as you arrive. ANYONE who arrives before 2:00pm on SATURDAY will receive $5 in store credit with the purchase of an all day pass.

Upcoming Tournaments!!
Our first official CS 1.6 tournament is officially announced for Sun day, Oct. 24th - It will be 2vs2 and the details will be posted soon. We changed it from 5vs5 because it's just too difficult to get that many 5 man teams together as the NOLAFF events have proven. Trying to warm things up a bit with 2vs2 seems better.

The more teams that enter, the larger the cash prize will be...and the prize will be divided between the top 3 teams. We hope this will encourage smaller teams to rise out of the woodwork to compete because 3 teams will have a chance to win some money. The success of this tournament will help set the standard for future Dibbz CS events so get EVERYONE in on this tournament!

In other tournament news, there will also be a 2vs2 or 4vs4 HALO tournament coming up soon. We are asking all HALO and CS players to come in and sign up there teams THIS Saturday so we can get an idea about the level of interest. More teams = bigger cash prize.

Also, we've recieved a big response from the 2-D Fighting game community. It looks like Friday nights might be deemed "Fight Nights" so if you're into Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, etc... come see these guys play, or jump in and get learned!!
